Default A3s float

villan has taggy stats. we had a hand earlier where i floated him and he folded. seems pretty tightish. do you like this or no? (hero is taggy).

I'm not a fan of the preflop call, especially if he's taggy.

What do you think about raising flop to like 35 and being done if calls/ you don't improve?

Turn bet seems standard.

I give up on river.

flop raise was in the back of my mind, but i typically wouldnt raise with much of any hand here (even a set). probably 2pair.

Preflop is fine, fold flop. Would be more inclined to call flop with something like T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] so you have a shot at busting him if he has a big hand in addition to the float.

yeah i think maybe i shouldve picked a better hand to do it with. gutshots and backdoors are sweet [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

Also, you probably only have implied odds here if you hit a three and you might have some serious reversed implied odds both with the ace (if he has AJ for ex) and the three (vs JJ for ex).

What is it about this flop/villain that makes a flop raise superior to a turn float?
