Gatorade is Gatorade. not jordanade. Michael's name isnt on it he just uses it. Your post is foolish. Doyle gauranteed his site if you remember pop up when you signed up. This is really no better than dutch boyd.

[/ QUOTE ]

He is better than Dutch Boyd because we are at least getting are funds somehow. Dutch never did that, and never will despite his claims to do so. But Doyle does deserve all criticism that comes his way. He put his name on this poker site, and I have very upset the way it has been handled. Large bonuses not credited towards accounts, books not mailed out, etc...

If I do see Doyle Brunson, I will go up to him and ask for my books, deposit bonus, and a apology for all the crap that has gone on in his poker room. Party Poker was the best site so that I have dealt with in shutting down to US players. I recieved a prompt cashout, and was able to use my Party Poker points in their store. The same can not be said for Doyle's Room.

I hope this doesnt come across as nitty- because it isn't meant that way.

At least you all weren't playing thru Golden Palace- where hundreds of thousands of accumulated action points are worth exactly $0 now.
While all sites serving US customers had to deal with this and IMO dealt with it extremely poorly by not giving far more advance warning- some didn't deal with it at all. I wish I had been with Doyle's at this point- as strange as that may now sound.

I have no problem with the withdrawal, we all kind of knew it would happen sooner or later. The lack of any options- the inability for weeks and weeks to get straight answers from any support- and the apparent lack of caring about long term customers surely falls on the sites and not on legislation that forced the inevitable.

This was botched in so many ways. But Doyle's did better than others.

Doyle's network shut them out as far as US players are concerned, and they don't really have any good choices for moving to a different network.

I can't see putting full responsibility for what's going on with them, on Doyle.

Doyles has the right to pull out of the U.S. market if they want. It's disappointing but I have no problem with it.

Doyles lied repeatedly about their plans and then sprung this on us at the last moment. That's completely on them.

Doyles refused to honor accumulated action points, effectively cheating U.S. players out of bonuses and merchandise worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. That's completely on them too.

Doyle Brunson's name and likeness popped up at login every day for months and assured us we were safe. Doyle Brunson is a liar.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, Steller, what would you like for Doyle to do?

Doyle's room runs on a network... they do not have their own software... they are being kicked off their network sooner than they were originally told they would, and merged into a network that will not allow US players... there is no good option for switching networks, at this time... what to do?

Not a big deal, but when Party Poker pulled out of US market, I had about 6,000 pts. Tried to use their store to turn in pts. for a book. Never received the book. Looked up my acct. which still has the 6,000 pts. but I cannot cash the points and their store is closed.

Sounds like someone forgot to click "submit" on his shopping cart order.

So after requesting a check on Feb 20th, and being lied to 4 different times by support/accounting, saying it was already sent or would be sent the next day or so, now they tell me they can no longer send checks.

I might be in the same boat. I requested a check on the 19th, before the Full Tilt option appeared under cashouts. On the 23rd, I got an e-mail telling me "Your Payout of xxxx USD for Account ID xxxxxx has been processed. This transaction was completed via CourierChk."

So what's the remedy? Will they send your money to Full Tilt?

Thanks.

Default I didn\'t get my deposit bonus either.

I was told by the in-game chat host that I would still be able to get my deposit bonus as a US-player if I cleared the 165k action points(which takes FOREVER). I then cleared the action point requirement on the 28th but didn't get my bonus. I've been on the phone with several people, and emailed several times, but it looks like I'm going to get screwed. The other posts by people on here have me worried that the cashout I have processed won't come, and that transfering to Full Tilt may even be a problem. I really hope to get Doyle at a tournament table or something some time and ask him why I'm getting screwed when he guarenteed my money would be safe.

Well, I'm still doubtful I'll ever recieve my Doyle's deposit bonus, but it took a matter for about 30 mins (maybe less) for my money to be transfered from Doyle's to FT.
