I have a hard time thinking that continuing to jam is wrong. Both Aces are dead and a 7 is dead. You're only behind if he has JJ or 77 and I don't think he'd C/C 4th with trip Jacks after you caught another spade which are live.

[/ QUOTE ]
Why is it everytime I post a hand here I miss something obvious, I knew one aces was dead, but I forgot that two were. The reason why I capped 5th was because of the dead Ace, I would have raised 6th if I realized two were gone, then slowed down if he three bet me.

When Beavis raises fifth street, he's saying he has a set. When the other guy comes over the top, he is saying one of three things:

1) He has Beavis' set beaten.
2) He doesn't believe that Beavis has what he is representing.
3) He is oblivious to what Beavis might have.

The lower the limit, the more consideration you have to give to door #3.

I don't think it's that evident he has a set. He's showing 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], surely Beavis could be raising here with two small spades in the hole. Villain might think he's charging him to draw.

I agree with #3 especially. Villain almost certainly has Aces up on 5th and sees Beavis's board and thinks there's nothing he can have that's ahead of him, perhaps not even realizing himself (or caring) that both the other Aces are dead.

he checked to me on 7th, I bet, and he called me with AA77, he started with 2 smalls in the hole. He must have had 78 in the hole </font>
