Push it?
This hand came 2 hands after my aces were cracked by the SB.
Blinds go up in 2 mins. Button does silly things like going all in after one limper, (very first hand he raised a $60 flop bet all in with a flush draw which he hit when he was called). PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Button (t2405) SB (t1816) BB (t600) UTG (t1990) MP (t5052) Hero (t477) Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero? |

Re: Push it?
I'd wait. If you were UTG I'd consider it but not quite yet. Hopefully you get lucky and get an ace or pair in the next couple of hands to push with. Also, right after getting your rockets cracked this might be conceived as a tilt raise rather than a standard low M play.

Re: Push it?
WOAH. Calm down. U still have 9BBs and yes the blinds go up soon, but u still have 4.5 BBs. 10 6 is an instafold here. Just wait for any ace, any pair, king middle-high etc.

Re: Push it?
4 or 5 bbs and you start shoving this [censored]!
9 or 10 bbs we hold our horses a bit tighter than this lone ranger! On the other hand, we are in the co....... Standard fold, but lets look at the stack sizes. We are the second smallest, and if there is a sizable jump between 6 and 5, then we really want to outlast the next shortie. Unfortunatly, this usually means being more aggro. Is this the final table, or is it the final two? If we shove, we are shoving into the second short stack, who should be playing tight, particularly against you. I could find a shove, but if the button is an idiot, would fold and find a better spot. After all, when the blinds double, you will be instashoving heaps of crud when first in ! Did you ever consider that the button may have just been doing a semibluff raise with say a10h on a board of 8h 2c 5h with a shortish stack, and just outplayed everyone? |
