I 3-bet the turn and lead the river. I think on average villain will check behind more often than he will fold to the turn 3-bet.

FWIW I think c/r'ing the flop is the line that wins you the most.

I 3-bet p/f

bet/3bet is the new c/r.

if he is a lagtard betting is usually better because he finds more reasons to raise.

This hand is ok, not terrible or anything, but "the delayed river check raise" as a plan of action is something that only works when this guy doesn't have AJ. The rest of the time he calls your turn 3-bet and calls a river bet.

In summary - don't get fancy against idiots. I don't get fancy against decent players either.

I have a false memory or something, the hand doesn't exist... the only 77 set hand I was dealt went very differently lol. For starters I 3 bet that preflop and the turn was an ace.
