Heh, this trick is kind of cool to see, just because I used to do a variation of this trick back when I was in school. Instead of cards though, I asked people random questions like what is your favorite food, favorite animal, and wrote down my 'predictions' on slips of paper after each one. Then at the end I reveal the slips and they're all correct. The hook is that the last question is something less open-ended with an obvious answer that you can safely predict, so that's the one you write down in response to the first question.

It actually impresses people more than predicting cards, and it doesn't have the flaw of this card trick which is looking at the cards when there's obviously no need to, which leads you to figure it out. I like the trick just because it requires no skill whatsoever.
