there are two seperate makers of games liek these and one is called "football manager" and the other "championship manager". FM only started in 2003ish before that CM was like 1996. and by the way this football is real football no stupid american football, which should be called american soccer so that we dont have to call our game soccer even though we came up with name first (btw i still like american soccer)

i prefer FM havent played on CM really, but it is a bit more advanced with a lot more post game statistics and the transfer amount are much more realistic, on FM you have to pay a lot higher. Most people would choose FM ahead of CM and it also has tips when advancing thru the days which is handy when first starting and u always learn new things :-)

it goes like this, Eidos does Championship Manager for a bunch of years, then the team that made CM decided to leave Eidos, that team kept the game engine and made Football Manager with it, Eidos kept the name and made a new game that is pretty crappy when compared to FM.
