Just moved to this table, not really any reads. Did I really screw this up? River play? Just fold preflop? Any comments appreciated.

Folding is the smart play, though I don't mind the call PF, especially if you haven't been defending your BB. Its a great flop for you, you've got the OESD. It is just a draw though, so flat calling would be fine, if you want to R/R I think 2000 is a better number here. It looks like your beat on his turn bet, but I would still call, you've got the odds to draw and possibly 11 outs. The river card was a great scare card and he knows any 7 and any 2 just made straights. You're still probably beat here and your only chance to win this pot is to make a bet at the pot. There's like 9000 in the pot, so go A/I, and you'll probably get him to fold enough times to make this a +cEV play.
