Default Physical twitches - how do you stop them?

And what causes them? Like a lack of salt in the body or what? I woke up at 4am this morning and haven't slept since - sometimes standard except for the fact that my left calf has been twitching the whole effing time. I've tried walking, I've tried running. I've tried lying down, I've tried to massage it myself - nothing is stopping this annoying POS. I know it will eventually go away, but is there anyone out there that has any other suggestions as to a shortcut?

I get eye twitches from time to time that seem to last forever, but then just disappear.

I have no clue what causes them, but for me, they seem to be like the hiccups and if I just stop thinking about them, they go away.

FFK, have you seen the majority of those links? They are mostly links to DVD's - one is even about poker tells.

I did check out the first link though, only thing I can attribute this to is stress. Perhaps I need a beer - it is nearly 11am after all.

Klompy, just got a PM saying that they had a problem with twitches but started taking magnesium supplements. Now that I look at it, I am really fit but I don't eat well and haven't taken vitamins since the bottle ran out about 6 weeks ago. I probably should go out and get some.
