Is there a chip collector in the house?
I know we have plenty of casual save-a-souvenir collectors (I'm one), but is there anybody here who's a serious casino chip collector or who could recommend a contact, for AC rarities in particular?

Re: Is there a chip collector in the house?
I have quite a collection of chips from around the world. The person you need to contact for Atlantic city chips is Archie Black. You can reach him by leaving a message on thechipboard.com.

Thanks. I discovered a super-rarity in a box at home this weekend and it's a bit more than I'm comfortable eBaying.

Re: Is there a chip collector in the house?
A Resorts $5 Baccarat.
This one currently on eBay could be yours for a mere $2999.99. There should be a good story here, but I can't for the life of me remember where it came from. It was in a box I brought home when my parents moved a couple years ago, of my old coin collection that had probably been untouched for a dozen years or so before that. There was also a Resorts $1, Park Place $1 and Caesars $1 token (metal) dated 1981, none of which seem to be anywhere near as noteworthy. I'd guess some family friend went to AC and brought them back for me, but no idea who or when. |

Wow. I guess you're not interested in the provision of NJ law that says you can reedem that at any time in the future for five bucks.
Congrats on your find. Here's Archie Black's chip page. |
