'Ello Loves,
I'm working on my set of home chips and need some advice from those that have come before me on poker chip labels. I have the sizes, and the artwork, what I really need are the materials. What labels seem to work best, did you get them done somewhere (Kinkos, etc). I'm looking at ordering them only as a last resort, so if you used Ebay or sent away, feel free to share, but that's pretty far down my list. Lastly, I'm asking over at Chiptalk, so no need to link, just looking for some experiences here. Cody |

I never got them, but there was one guy everybody used and everyone was happy. If I remember he was very reasonable too, might be worth ordering for the few extra dollars.
**Of course this doent help if nobody else comes up with the name (Maybe Jason??) |

[/ QUOTE ] I have no issue ordering from someone, I'd just prefer to do it myself. If, however, this guy is as good as advertised, then I'd have no problems putting an order in. Cody |

Yes Jason is just about everyones choice for vinyl and most for paper.
You have to join CT to see the for sale section to see his add. I will probobly use him if I do not go the lazer route. |

First "CT"?
Second, what, in terms of durability, is the best bet. Paper or Vinyl, assuming that I'd coat both with Krylon. Cody |

CT= chiptalk.net
Vinyl is supposed to be better/more durable. And it is Jason Eppenstein (jasone@verizon.net was his old email, not sure if it's still good). |

[/ QUOTE ] Ok cool, I mentioned in my OP that I was on CT so I was a little confused as to why he said that. Good to know however. And yeah, I was thinking Vinyl. Cody |

I do vinyl chip labels wholesale for several manufacturers. Get vinyl and have them laminated, don't try and Krylon them. If you do them inkjet on paper they can still run when wet even with overlamination (the paper will wick the moisture)

They should laminate them as a matter of course. Otherwise even with solvent on vinyl you can scar the ink.
Make sure you ask if your lables will be overlaminated. |
