Default How do I get paid off?

Vilain just sat down a couple of orbits ago, and haven't played, that many hands so far. I've been a bit on the loose side in that period, but haven't shown anything.

Comments on flop and turn welcome as well ofcourse.

Turn bet is too small. Why did you lead turn?
As played, lead river 34, or go for a CR if he wants to act up.

Dont lead turn. min c/r on turn is good. Buys opponent in if he has high pp or 5 and gives him ok odds for st8 and flush draw. too bad he'll be drawing dead. Lead river amount depending on what hits but usually a value bet 2/3 pot is good hoping he raises with a made flush, st8, or A5.

Check-raise river as played.

Against the right opponent, I like to lead here for like $10 so Villain says "bullshat, he missed his draw and is posting oak!" then raises me so I can drop the hammer.

With no reads on this guy, though, I probably lead river for $28-34 and hope he has a 5 (not real likely) or large pair that he pays with.

If he has a 5 or a big pair, he will always bet, and therefore C/R is better.

Yeah, good point, I didn't even consider checkraising.

Do you guys generally consider check/call flop and leading turn a bad line with a monster (on a dry board)? What I was thinking with the turn bet was to get some value from AK/AQ type hands, that may think I'm FOS, and I may get to bet/3bet against big pairs and get my stack in. But maybe big pairs see this coming a mile away (if he's decent).
