depositing Bodog Canadian checks

This is the first time I've gotten a Bodog check generated at the bank of Montreal. I deposited through the atm. Looking at my account they put a hold on that one. I know it's normal to put a hold on these checks. I'm wondering if anyone knows how long these checks usually take to clear. When I called they said up to 6 weeks at Wells Fargo.

I find it very annoying cashing out at Bodog. These checks take 20 days to arrive, and then another 6 weeks to clear!! I believe this is their only withdrawal method too.

Any information will help.

It sounds like at Wells Fargo it could take up to 6 weeks, but probably less.

Note, that the bank is exercising its rights to put a hold on your deposit. It really doesn't matter when the check clears, but when the bank chooses to remove the hold.

Hopefully, the clearing of the check and the removal of the hold are related, but if the bank wants to be a hardass it can take as long as the terms of the account state that you agreed to when you opened the account.

i deposited 2 checks and my bank put 30 day holds on them. Still waiting for them to pass through. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

When did you place your check request? I've been waiting 25 business days for mine and no check, no tracking number, support keeps telling me it'll be here tomorrow. I feel like I'm getting the run-around.
