I would push preflop, but flat calling is OK too.

I would play for a checkraise on the flop.

As played, of course get your money in.

Incidently, you were 34% on the flop against 2-pair.

I think the overall stack sizes make it tricky but the push pre flop is probably the best option. I would just find it easier to do this if I had say 30k. I think I did quite well to get this far anyway as I put the Hand History on pokerxfactor and my overall PUFF was 2.

It's simple maths (lol@ me preaching maths).

a) How wide does villain raise here? Maybe anything, from your read as much as the result.
b) How narrow does he call for half his stack? Whatever the answer to (a), this is a lot narrower and again reads are useful. Let's say any pair, any two broadway, any ace.
c) How does K9s fare against his calling range? I'm crap at maths and I don't have pokerstove to hand but if (b) is his calling range, you're in pretty good shape when called.

Put this all together: he folds a lot and you take 6000 of his chips w/o showdown + he calls sometimes and you double up somewhere in the region of %45 of the time and perhaps you will understand why shoving pre-flop is undoubtedly the best play. Added to which, it tends to stop people stealing your blind light.

Cool. I also think this is an unrealistically wide calling range (this I think is worst case scenario) for a 10/180 FT so I'll go on to announce that you are precisely 44.87% agaisnt his calling range.
