Ok, I think that your reaction to this hand explains why I won a big pot (with luck). I did bet and he did called me and the turn was a spade. He probably didn't think I would ever bet KK and that's probably the reason he shoved it all-in.

The end of the hand went the following way:

S1 checks
S2 bets [$1500]
S1 calls [$1500]
** Dealing Turn ** [ 5s ]
S1 checks
S2 bets [$3500]
S1 is all-In [$13471]
S2 calls [$9971]
** Dealing River ** [ Ad ]
S2 shows [ Kc, Ks ]a flush, Ace high.
S1 doesn’t show [ Jc, Js ]a flush, Ace high.
S2 wins $32962 from the main pot with a flush, Ace high with King kicker.

You might get QQ/TT to lay down if you apply lots of pressure, but that can be costly if he doesn't fold or has AA.

I'm never laying these hands here but then again I think I'd lead this flop given the danger my opp holds a high spade!

I hate a bet from Hero here as you get RR by hands that beat you and this puts you in a tough spot if you call and the spade doesn't fall! You don't really beat his 3-betting range so the only thing that you should do is check behind and control the pot until you do 'get lucky' and he wants to get it in!

Even in this situation you don't give me credit for a higher set if you hit your TT? Is this not the typical set-over-set situation you can fold? If TT bets and Hero pushes, is TT not in a very bad spot to call?

I just never thought a hit set would EVER check for those stacks we had... Maybe AK will c/r all-in because of the straigth possibility (4 outs) and the probability I was making a move. But I just don't think some-one has AK, or would push AK here (would be losing strategy)
