16 AQ in BB with limpers

Can someone help me out here. Do i need to be raising this even though i'm oop? checking seems very weak. pushing i think is just as bad. So if i raise, how much and what's my line for a whiffed flop? Any help is appreciated.

I'd play it the same as you. A check does seem really weak though.

Raising sucks because you would have to put in like 1/4 of your stack just for a raise and then whiffing the flop OOP really sucks.

Pushing 16 BBs into 1 limper doesn't really appeal too much to me. This might be the better play though, I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks.

this seems close between how you played it and a push, and there should be a read at this point because of how he accumulated all of his chips. I think i might lean towards a push, but its pretty close and read depenent

I lean towards the way you played it, but it's read-dependant. If you had one of the following reads, I could be convinced that a push is in place:
- He's been playing Axs-hands
- He's been playing small PP from early position
- He's folded to a big raise in a similarish situation earlier

Raise 3x PF and lead c-bet.
Push Im not sure if it is too bad. too agro early but bad , i dont know
