I believe that there are really two distinct market niches for poker statistic software. One is for opponent modelling and the other is for analysis of your own play.

Markedly less downcard information is available for your opponents than for yourself. The same depth of analysis is not possible or not as effective on your opponent's play as on your own.

My coding skills have depreciated to zero value since my retirement from software engineering in the mid 90's. But, perhaps I could still be of assistance in analysis/design of an application for opponent modelling.
