A few WSOP questions.
I'm planning on playing some WSOP events for the first time this year. I've got a few questions I couldn't find answers for anywhere else.
1.) Do you get 10,000 starting chips in all of the events? If not how many do you get? 2.) Event #21 is the No Limit HE Shootout. Can someone tell me what a shootout is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Telly |

Re: A few WSOP questions.
For the most part you start with chips equal to the buyin of the event, so 10k main event = 10k starting chips, $2500 NLHE event = 2500 starting chips. I think there are one or two exceptions to this, like perhaps the casino employees event, and maybe one other (ladies event?).

Re: A few WSOP questions.
Thanks for the info.
That's what I was thinking on the starting chips, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So the $1,500 events you actually only start with T1500, huh? Are the blind structures the same for all of the tournaments? Start at 25/50 and go up every two hours? Sorry for the dumb questions. Thanks, Telly33 |

Re: A few WSOP questions.
I'm pretty sure this post doesn't belong in Televised Poker.
