Help a gey ! (extract prob)
Hi,
Table: That a FR table playing shorthanded. Sometimes there is simply no NL400FR running on Party so I try to open a new one and play shorthanded. When this hand happened we had played roughly 50 hands 2-4 handed. I guess those players were 6-max and not FR players as I have never seen them before at NL400/200 and as they were far too agro for FR players. The only real good player who sat down was UTG and he wasn't involved in this hand. Image: I have run good, something like 30/25/3. Is that too tight for a 2-4 handed game (in average 3 players)? I have been to showdown a few time showing very good hands or pure/semi bluff when I was really agro during the hand or showing marginal holding when I slowed during the hand. SB: Just sat down with $150. No read on him. BB: He was the first to come at this table. At first he came with something like $100, double up through me, lose his stack to me when we both hit a flush. I had just changed my seat because at first he had direct pos on me. Very passive preflop (60/10), calls too much oop, quite agro postflop but not clueless. Party Poker No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $2/$4 4 players Converter UTG ($348.80) Hero ($449) SB ($151.80) BB ($348.80) Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero raises to $14, SB calls, BB calls. Standard ? Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($42, 3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks. No high card, I decided to not c-bet because I had 2 overs and I was nearly sure that none of the vilains will fold any pp on this flop (not even sure if they will fold an ace). SB has c/rAI a few time on this kind of flop. Turn: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($42, 3 players) SB bets $15, BB calls, Hero calls. Should I raise this weak bet ? A PSR would be roughly $100, SB is commited if he calls. River: 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($87, 3 players) SB checks, BB bets $60, Hero raises to ? Cool, I got the nuts, now what is my plan ? Simply push ? Comment on all street appreciated. |

Re: Help a gey ! (extract prob)
Against a 60/10 opponent I would push.

Re: Help a gey ! (extract prob)
PF is standard. I would usually bet this flop, but checking is OK. Turn is standard. River push.

Re: Help a gey ! (extract prob)
the thing about bettin $177 is that that is how much i'd want to bet if i was bluffing. i wouldnt often shove bluff into such a small pot, so $177 is goot to go

Re: Help a gey ! (extract prob)
Thanks all, I have bet $180 for the exact same reason tufat is betting $177 (that would be how much I'd have bet if I was bluffing). SB folded and BB called with 77.
