Re: 2/4: I have an overpair in position - better fold...
[ QUOTE ]
I would say AQ is his most likely hand.. another vote for call. [/ QUOTE ] Betting into the raiser w AQ makes it pretty easy to fold worse hands and call w better hands, I don't think AQ is a very large part of his range here. |

I go broke too, 50 hands is nothing.

I am just saying that, without a read, we shouldn't assume that AQ is his most likely holding when weighting his range. |

Re: 2/4: I have an overpair in position - better fold...
[ QUOTE ]
I go broke too, 50 hands is nothing. [/ QUOTE ] I don't wanna come off as defensive or anything, but are the tight stats really a necessity to make this fold? When someone with just close to reasonable stats cold calls OOP preflop against a raise and a reraise, I very very rarely get shown worse than JJ/AQ and even that range needs to be weighted more towards QQ+. |

Re: 2/4: I have an overpair in position - better fold...
This is a definite call and possibly a push if you are familiar with the player. I think he has something like AJs or JTs more often than QQ or AA which would have most likely reraised preflop, plus if he does have a set you got a backdoor flush possibility so call and re evaluate

15/7 isn't very meaningful over 50 hands. certainly not meaningful enough to fold for one bet here.

I would be very tempted to fold, but likely still call.
I think pushing/rasing is bad. |

Re: 2/4: I have an overpair in position - better fold...
this is such a [censored] spot. the range i put him on is AA,QQ, and a small chance that it's AQ. i doubt AQ leads out like. that. very tough and close decision, but i think you made the correct one.
