Default Tour Guides/Companies - Europe

I was thinking about going to Europe during my summer vacation for 2-3 weeks. I'll be traveling solo so I would like to go through a tour company/guide if they are good..

I know traveling w/o one would be good as well, but it's my first time and I'd probably a bit overwhelmed having to plan/do everything myself.. I'd rather have everything planned out for me if it's a good tour with good destinations and such..

Has anyone ever been on one, and if so, can you reccommend the company (website) that you went with? I'm 21 and not really into drinking/partying as much, looking for more of the cultural experience and just need time away from my current monotonous surrounding..

Thanks.

both are reputable - contiki is much more of a party tour, while gap is more what you're looking for

ya that's what I gather.. even by the web layouts of both sites you could tell which demographic/market the companies are targetting.. Have you looked at any specific trips with GAP? So many options.
