u have a set vs. a donk who lrr'd on a drawy board on party poker and u are deep stacked. i'm not sure there are many more reasons to try as hard as u can to get all-in. oh yea, never fold, ever.

A/g a lrr I think you'll see AA/KK and AsKs a lot. Get it in, stack many a donk by the end of the year

I don't go broke here. His hand looks exactly like what it is. More importantly your hand looks transparant. Call twice preflop and come alive on the flop. This screams you have a set and he doesn't care. He minreraised the flop, this is a set always. Aces would make a real raise and probably fold if called. Even donks don't suck 201bbs deep. Gawl.

So just put this one down to variance then right?

Never call with 22 deep as you'll always hit bottom set!

Seriously tho, I do feel draws shove 3Bet/call and AA do RR more on this flop (as HUD-BOT said) if they don't flat-call. If you can get away from a set any time this may be the opportunity.

Disagree with both the above, esp HUD-BOT who says you should call a raise with AK oop pre....

Never fold this set here please

if for some reason i folded this, like my connection went out or i misclicked, I would probably break something, so I guess I'm saying, you should go broke here

Chalk it up to variance. It is possible that you will occasionally run into 77 here, perhaps a bit more often than "shockingly" infrequently, but, you need to get the money in and live with the result. He has a big pair or big spades here considerably more often than a higher set. What better spot could you ask for versus an an uber-donk? I'm never folding here. Your betting line can go any way you wish that gets the equity in, it doesn't necessarily have to be a flop shove - but believe me, going broke here was necessary.

HUD, it is very unlikely that the Villain in this hand thinks deep enough to play a set fast b/c Fionnmac's hand looks like bottom set. Donks are donks regardless, and yes, there are donks who would "value" big pairs in this fashion.

you're probably playing too high if you were thinking of folding here. I'm not trying to be rude
