Villain had 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

The river was the 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

and my hand is good.

I was shocked at his holding, what with the PFR, which seems maniacally loose, to me.

Thanks for the feed back guys.

Todd

I know it's a Captain Obvious kind of thing, but 32/6/2.3 will be playing about 1/3 of their hands. And the 2.3 is pretty high. So I'm not sure why you're shocked he'd do that with 44. This further increases the strength of your hand/draw, (his loose/aggressivness, not his hand).

Not maniacal at all. If BB were tight I would call his PFR standard.

You need to fold this pf or raise it up

This is just awful advice at a full table, even one that's gone 2 hands short.

It's 8-handed and UTG folded. It's becoming "open raise only" territory, so I have to say that's far from awful advice.

grunch

on a tight table from UTG+1 i fold low suited aces. The pot odds are just too bad and there is too much of a chance that people in later positions are going to be playing hands that dominate me. From late position I raise this to steal or limp if there are pots odds to call.

As played call the bet, raise the turn. Threebet is spew and you could just as easily be up against better two pair here.

pray for a flush or boat.
