POp the turn to 400 and call the push. You're up against an non club A with decent size club kicker a lot.

on the flop, when i'm not drawing to the nut flush, i usually like to have better direct odds or some kind of combo draw. however, i think the Ac is the best card for you at this point as top pair is gonna give you some action. i'd lead out 250ish. as played, the two donk bets make me want to push.

Why did you not fold the flop?

this makes no sense with the way the flop was played - the guy would not have Ad Qc (or something similar) here EVER

I would have led the turn. As played, you could be in trouble. I think I might call but I would totally understand a push. Both plays are around the same probably.

river plan?

[/ QUOTE ]

if you take the just call route, youve gotta be willing to get it in on any nonclub river -

[/ QUOTE ]

So basically, you're saying we're afraid of a made flush, but we should bet-call the river anyway?

[/ QUOTE ]

hmmmm. how bout check call the river - if he shoves im lost, but since the pot isnt really that big he probably wont shove and you can check/call and see a showdown w/o risking your whole stack here

im kind of lost in this spot, i tend to agree with ryan though. i also stopped playing the 27s a little while ago, back in the day (lol) when the play was really weak i think id get it in on the turn - now things may be different though

why did you not read my OP?

to repeat: commenting on the flop is fine but only if you also comment on the turn & give a river plan

I call the flop, and push the turn against a couple of unknowns at the 27s.

Folding is out of the question.

I do not like calling b/c there are a lot of river cards that will kill our action/beat us.

Therefore pushing is the best play b/c it will extract the most value from the weaker hands like the very popular pair with a FD hands in this spot. I believe you must ignore pot control in this spot b/c you have a MONSTER hand. You need to get the most value in this spot in the 27s.

I tend to think mp3 has a flush as well other draws he might be on are less likely. So, I guess I fold.

Straight Flushes,

Sets, two pairs, str8 draws, flush draws, made flushes and str8s, pair w/ flush and/or str8 draw...and your occasional misplayed AA...
