Default Need review of this live 1-2 NL AK hand.

I'm relatively new to NL cash games so please give me a review of how I played this hand. Keep in mind there is no check raising allowed in this room.

Stacks:
I have $420.
Villain in this hand is in MP and has $180.

Villain is a relatively selective on the hands she will play, which is very unusual for this room.

There are 4 limpers to me and I have A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button.

I raise to $16 and UTG and villain call.

($54)

Flop:

A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

UTG checks.
Villain bets out $15.
I raise to $45
Villain calls.

(144)

Turn: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain checks

I bet $60 and villain thinks and calls.

River 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Villain shrugs and pushes her remaining $60 or so into the pot.

I call.

Final pot is approximately $260.

No need to be gentle, I need help.

I think you have the best hand.

Push the turn.

And cash-out pre-flop. I'd never play a game like this. No Check-raising, WTF.

I would tend to agree with you, but most of the players in this room are so bad you don't need the check raise in your arsenal to make a killing.

Isn't 16 too big a raise preflop, or is it kind of standard raise in this game?
I would raise much more on the flop - your hand is most likely best and by raising just 30 you are pricing every draw in.

As played I'd push the turn. Not doing so, you pretty much have to call any riverbet.
Sucks if you ran into a set, but I could not get away from TPTK with this boardtexture in a live game.

With no check raising allowed, I think this looks fine. After the flop action it's all going into the middle.

This is live. This is NORMAL for live in a lot of games. Online, this would be really weird. But after 4 limpers, it doesn't seem that weird.

$16 is at the high end of the standard raise range for the game. In this room, $16 will get calls from a wide range of hands.
