I saw this a week or so ago at the Denver museum of Natural History. I've been struggling since with this idiot's motivation, given that there were plenty of parking spots available. The only explanation I could come up with was that he was in a vast hurry to deliver the Ugliest Cake In The History Of The Universe:

Do they tow the lot every night? He could have parked there a while ago when the lot was full of snow.

That's not bad at all, at least he's in a spot. I constantly see people in SF parked across 3 spots, and I'm on the verge of taking drastic action against them.

[/ QUOTE ] This is an interesting theory however that huge pile snow is almost definitely a result of plowing. If the guy was parked there before they plowed they wouldn't have piled it up in that spot and his front wheel wouldn't be that high up to begin with. |

I almost went to the Denver Museum of Natural History last weekend. My wife went with a couple of her aunts and cousins. I'd say this parking job is relatively good compared to some of the other similar parking jobs I've seen around town after the snow.

We liked the museum. We weren't there for long (about an hour) but had some time between a breakfast at Annie's and a plane flight home. The rich mummy/poor mummy thing was pretty cool, and the Russian gem sculptures were both silly and amazing at the same time. |

I know people who have off-road vehicles that will purposely park like that, but I suspect this was a 300 pounder and this was the closest spot they could find to the electric carts, ala Walmart

I have to admit that since I traded my itty-bitty 323 convertible for a big 4 door, I have become a terrible parker. I've had the new car for nearly a year now, and I still hate pulling into spaces between two other cars. I always seem to end up too close on the driver's side and too far on the passenger, necessitating backing up and adjusting like a complete tard. I have developed parking anxiety over it.
