Re: QQ versus TheBeat
I would raise to 250. And I would bet about half the pot and see what MP1 does.

Everyone says bet the flop. I didn't. Now the turn.

Re: QQ versus TheBeat
You are WA/WB. The only way to get any of his chips when you are ahead is to check the flop and call on the turn.
All that betting the flop does is sometimes gets him to fold a weaker hand, sometimes allows him to outplay you in a bloated pot when he is behind, and sometimes gives him free chips when he is ahead. I have no problem with giving up on this hand entirely but if you want to continue with it I think the best line is check the flop, call the turn, reevaluate the river. |

Re: QQ versus TheBeat
check flop obv call turn
edit: actually you can probably fold turn because he'd usually bet flop if he didn't have an A at least. I don't hate calling once and folding river though. But do not bet the flop. |

Re: QQ versus TheBeat
OK, I call the turn. What do I do on the river?

Re: QQ versus TheBeat
I fold. The only reasonable hands that he could have preflop that you beat are 99 and JJ and I don't see him firing two barrels with either of these hands (if he thinks his JJ is ahead then it makes much more sense for him to check/call the river)
I have no problem folding the turn either. |

270 pre. As played check behind on the flop and call his ass down.
If turn is a really [censored] card like a 9 and he checks, i fire. |
