I fold this pre to avoid this exact situation.

Not to sure here, probably a fold because if he's a lag like you say, I'm really scared of the flop call

tough spot! if i was on my a game id let it go and continue to try ot steal pots from him. if he plays back again i'd still wait for a better spot. theres a lot of 2p and 4 to a straight out there.

It looks like the villain is betting for value since the ace came, he is probably hoping you have an ace.
