Default Superrrrrr thin AK value shove in RR pot vs TAG

Villain is a solid regular 20/16 or something. I've been getting by far the best of him and he is trying to win every pot from me as a result. Earlier this hand happened and he said later in the chat he was trying to "rep a set."

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

BB ($129.07)
UTG ($342.18)
MP ($207.70)
CO ($211.30)
Hero ($243.10)
SB ($427.65)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $1.
1 fold, MP raises to $8, 1 fold, Hero calls $8, 2 folds.

Flop: ($19) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP bets $13, Hero raises to $37, MP calls $24.

Turn: ($93) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks.

River: ($93) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP bets $63, Hero calls $243.10 (All-In), MP folds.

So he clearly is going out of his way to play/win pots vs me and gives me absolutely no credit. FWIW I'm playing 25/21 ish today.

Basically I don't think he raises Qx on the flop unless it's maybe AQ. Sets and stuff are possible but extremely unlikely. I think most of his range is draws/air, and I happen to have two clean overcards often when behind. Thoughts?

1) NH
2) Imo this is just spew.
No way he is folding anything he raises there.
Either he has a flushdraw or you're toast.

In case hes trying to steal every pot from you i think you can c/f this and just wait for a hand when you actually have something and then make the move you did in this pot. This play will for sure work out from time to time but i realy think you can wait for a hand against the kinda player you desribed couse you will get hes money sooner or later anyways.

I don't see why a set isn't likely in hand 2? 55/88 afraid of flush/straight draws will bet exactly like this. This is a huge spew..

[/ QUOTE ]

Sets are unlikely. He can still have AQ/KK/QQ/AA. Its hooge spew imo, he won't fold for the last $100 and you'll be a slight favourite or big dog. It might be better if we were deeper.

You quoted me right before I edited my post, anyways I think 55/88 is always possible here.. and of course other hands that has AK high dominated.

Sets are hard to come by though is my point.

I hate this. Your owning this guy and probably have him on tilt, so why try some spewy move w/ A high? He's more liable to call w/ 99 here because of it. There is almost no way to read this as a bluff. FPS for sure IMO.
I hate when I give away hard earned stacks like this cuz I'm feeling good and think I can win any pot. Now I'm pissed off at you (myself) in a vicarious kinda way

Exactly how I feel.

This is nitty but I raise to about 26 pre as well...

Cbet/fold here is standard. The 3bet AI just looks ugggly.

I don't understand why you're trying to push this hand so hard against a guy who is so susceptible to value bets once you get an actual hand??? I hate when people say this, but wait for a better spot/hand.
