I understand OP's predicament-- alarm clocks do NOT WORK, even if placed at other side fo the room. I'll just wake up, walk to my clcok, realize "oh [censored] I have class in 40 minutes" then realize "oh [censored] im [censored] tired as [censored] cuz I only got 5-6 hours of sleep" and then ill turn it off and go back to bed.

[/ QUOTE ]

I do the same thing.
I used to have a girl in one of my classes call me every morning and wake up and for some reason idk that was half the reason I went to class so I wouldnt have to hear her complain about me missing classes....

I have 3 alarms.. set them all at various times and I am still missing my 11 o clock class...
Ive overslept for a 2pm test... and I went to be at like 1 the night before... Try explaining that to a professor?

The one thing that sort of helped me was putting my alarm clock on top of my fan so that I would have to get up get my chair climb up and then get it down to turn it off but it is incredibly hard...

I realllllllllly wish there was a way to solve this [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] Id sriously pay to be on a normal schedule..

Well, maybe getting up and taking a shower when your alarm goes off would be a better idea for those who cannot seem to wake up with multiple alarms. Motivate yourself to get out of bed, geez.

Not many mainstream careers I know of have hours that allow people to sleep past 11am. Just a heads-up for the near future, that is unless Jack Bauer can't find the 3 remaining suitcase nukes before Fiyad detonates them...

Try changing your alarmclock. I often dont even remember turning the clock off anymore since I got used to that sound.
When I tried out a new tune on my cellphone I finally got to wake up before noon.
In a couple of weeks (months?) this tune will not wake me up anymore and I'll change it again. Hope it helps, it helped me because I missed tons of classes (high school, where it was obligated to go btw ) because of not waking up.

this works, helps too if you make sure you have to get up to throw an object at it to turn it off
