I believe that the prescription for glasses is a bit stronger. You just need to get used to it.

I recently got glasses that are supposedly the same prescription as my contacts, before that I hadn't had a pair of glasses for 5+ years. The new glasses feel way too strong, and I get extremely dizzy when I wear them, which normally results in a headache. I only got the glasses because my chem class says contacts shouldn't be worn during lab, but I have not been following that. I have been wearing contacts since about 5th grade, and I've never had a problem with them.

It's due to the focal length between your eye and the lens. You will definitely get used to it.
