Live Game @ Commerce 150BBS deep
This hand occured in the 3/5 200nl game at commerce. Villain is older asian who has been sitting for a few hours and played very few hands. He was pretty much the only decent player at the table. Haven't seen too many showdowns. Effective stacks are ~800.
Villain is Button Hero gets dealt J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in BB Preflop actions: fold, call, call, fold, call, fold, call, sb calls, hero checks. FLOP: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (pot $30) sb checks, hero checks, check, check, Villain bets $25, sb fold, hero calls, call, call. TURN: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot $130) Hero checks, check, check, Villain bets $100 Hero's action? Would leading out/CRing have been better flop play? |

Re: Live Game @ Commerce 150BBS deep
i'd lead the flop and - gross - c/f the turn. you don't know which of your outs are good, if any, and you might also get c/r'ed on the turn. seems like a bad spot.

flop lead is certainly good, although with so many limpers i don't mind the check. as played fold turn.

Re: Live Game @ Commerce 150BBS deep
Too many to the party in this hand, you can't even count your J or 7 as outs so just play it like you would a regular flush draw in an unraised pot.

Re: Live Game @ Commerce 150BBS deep
he'd have to be pretty nitty for me not to c/r the flop (if I had checked, which I probably wouldn't have)
he was checked to OTB, after all your flush outs could easily be dirty here as played, you have to fold |
