Get Project Gotham Racing 3 [/ QUOTE ] I haven't played PGR since the first one on the Xbox. Is PGR3 as insanely difficult as that one? |

Would it be better to get Oblivion for the PC?

don't buy Gears of War, it doesn't have enough replay value. [/ QUOTE ] If the ability to play countless matches online against millions of players of all skill levels isnt enough to keep playing the game, then i dont know what is. might as well say halo2 isnt worth it bc it doesnt have any replay value too hint: buy gears of war |

Would it be better to get Oblivion for the PC? [/ QUOTE ] Only if you have a baller-ass system that can run it with hawt graphics options turned on. Until recently I didn't, so having Oblivion looking gorgeous on my 50" HDTV (if you have a 360 w/o an HDTV, get one) was better imo. Although, I do hear there are some mods for the PC version of Oblivion that make the gameplay more fun; for example, a major complaint of mine about Oblivion was the fact that the difficulty of every area in the game was catered to the level of your character, and supposedly PC mods fix that. But anyway, Gears of War is good and has lots of multiplayer replay, Oblivion will take you 100 hours to get sick of (especially when you factor in downloadable content), and tbh despite owning 10-15 360 games I haven't really found a third game that I've fallen in love with as much as those two. Dead Rising is fun but once you beat it a couple times (which you should do; there are multiple endings and after you figure out what you're doing the first time through you'll want to do it again to save all the survivors) doesn't have a lot of replay value. There aren't really any great FPS games on 360; Prey is cool but I haven't tried playing it online. It def looks like there are lots of sick games coming out though...Bioshock, Mass Effect, Alan Wake, HL2 <whatever color> box, GTA4, prob some others I'm forgetting. |

If you like Shooters:
Gears, Rainbow 6, Graw 2 next month, Lost Planet If you like action type games: Dead Rising, Saints Row, Crackdown Sports games: NBA2k7, NBA Street Homecourt, Baseball game coming out on Tuesday. Madden is terrible. All their animations are from 2001, the tackling physics are absolutly horrible. If you like RPG's: Oblivion and Enchanted Arms |

Re: I\'m going to buy a 360. What 3 games should I get?
Well it's Friday and I'm now debating whether I should go ahead and purchase the 360 or if I should wait and save up to get a HDTV along with it. But I decided that I'll definitely get Gears of War and Rainbow 6 as my first two purchases, probably Dead Rising as well. My only issue now is if I should wait until I have a HDTV.

If you have a 19 inch CPU monitor it would be fine to get the VGA cables. I have the 20.1 inch Dell widescreen and it looks great on it. If you don't have a CPU monitor to play it on I would think it would be best to get an HDTV with it.
