[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] The cover and feel of WTO is easily my favorite of all the poker books I've seen. Looks and feels very profesional. I rate it about a 9. Most 2+2 books for cover and 'feel' I rate about a 5 or 6. I agree that the cover of Stox's book looks much better. The cover of NLHETP wasn't half-bad imo. [/ QUOTE ] To add to the hijack, my copy of WTO has been to hell and back with nary a scratch. I took NLHETAP, SSHE, HEFAP on a few business trips and they practically are falling apart. I actually used Party points to replace 2 of them. [/ QUOTE ] I've bought TOP several times as well. For 2+2, bad binding is good business. [/ QUOTE ] also had to buy two 2+2 titles because the old ones fell apart. I agree with everyone that WTO should be standard for poker books, it s awesome that hearts and diamonds are printed in red!!! I would also welcome 4 colored deck poker books, as these would be more expensive to print, I wouldn t mind pay to pay some extra. Wolf |

I wouldn't mind paying extra either for books with the quality of Weighing The Odds. That is without a doubt the best looking/feeling poker book Ive come across and I think its set a new benchmark for gambling literature. |

An excerpt from Nick "Stoxtrader" Grudzien's and Geoff "Zobags" Herzog's new 2+2 book can be read in the March issue of the Magazine.

FWIW...
I pre-ordered Winning in Tough Hold'em Games from amazon.ca. They have a release date of April 2007 and estimate it will ship May 4 and arrive May 7-9. Very nice price there. |

[ QUOTE ]
Why would anyone play in tough games to begin with? [/ QUOTE ] Because of the single donater. I guess this book addresses the fighting tooth-&-nail with the other 8 high-stakes pro's. Some people also like the challenge |

I hope Mason pays attention here because I know he takes this binding and paper stuff seriously. He says he spends more on the thick paper and the best binding they can get. But it's really freaking thick and kind of awkward imo. The Weighing the Odds with the thinner paper still seems like a more professionally made book imo and mine has endured the wear better also. Mason's in the publishing business and I am not though. [/ QUOTE ] So true. I've always hated the 2p2 books. Specifically the newer ones have been the worst. WTO is significantly better in every way. |
