Default Tough spot, FT stars $8r

Hey guys, I don't post in this forum much as I'm mostly a cashgame player, but I have been playing more MTTs recently.

This came up at the final table of the $8r $10k guaranteed on stars yesterday. We are six handed, but 6th pays like $1k and 1st pays $6k. The last time sb limped my bb (NOT this guy, he was eliminated last orbit) I instapushed. This guy may have been smart enough to remember that, but cannot say for sure....

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t40000 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero (t517056)
UTG (t604239)
MP (t322534)
CO (t1256435)
Button (t866240)
SB (t1031496)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t70000) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t80000, SB raises to t200000

So you bet 80K into a 92K pot with position and a little something?

I typically would bet a little bit smaller here. I have to think him check/raising you means he has you beat.

If you had bet smaller on the flop, then his check/raise might mean he thinks you are FOS, which could be a mistake on his part.

Here, I don't think you have given him an opportunity to make that mistake. I'd fold.

Oh yeah. Just re-read that you are cash game player. I suppose your flop bet is typical for a cash game. In MTTs flop bets tend to be smaller around 1/2-3/4 the pot.
