Heads up Challenge. Aces in SB, Random hand in BB.
[ QUOTE ]
In another thread, The Remper wrote: 'Troll, HU for ROOOOOOOLLLLLLZ? I promise i will raise AA99ds everytime I get it.' [/ QUOTE ] Who would win the following game, where on every hand: You are dealt AA** in the SB and raise to 3x BB. I am in BB and call with any random hand. http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/s...amp;h4=&h5= http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/f...amp;h4=&h5= We have 100 bb effective stacks. Play 20 hands on this board in one thread. Get someone or a program to deal out 20 random flop, turn, and rivers. And then have a moderator like grizy or someone else who lives on this board to let us know the next card after each of our actions. This problem pits giving half your hand away vs the strength of position and that the strength of Omaha hands are more largerly determined on the flop (compared to HE). Some notes: while I would probably participate in this, I'm not seriously suggesting it. I think between two equal opponents that this ends up being pretty evenly matched...just a guess though. I don't think 20 hands would be enough to determine the "answer". I think this problem would best be done with two opponents of equal skill, and I know I'm not as good as TheRempel. One could probably solve this on paper, or at least I would like to read about it. Wasn't Roundtower supposed to send us pics from Carnivale? |

So AAxx is the only hand you raise in the SB?

But that's not really the point of this game, don't think so literally. From this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...e=0#Post9236812 |

When your playing HU- almost everything is playable except for obvious trash like 3338. Its ok to raise with any 4 cards for the most part. AAxx is a good hand but the flop might make it junk too.

Obviously the BB is going to win in position knowing with certainty the SB has AA. This is first level [censored] and is not worth discussing.

But this has almost nothing to do with that thread. Take your same game, but I get AA99ds every hand, while opp thinks that I probably have a random AA, and I think I'm a huge favorite. |

[/ QUOTE ] Changing AA** to AA99 ds is only a slight change in post flop equity distribution (75 to 82% of flops where minimum equity is 50%): http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/f...amp;h4=&h5= http://www.propokertools.com/simulator/f...amp;h4=&h5= |
