Need help on arbitrage site!

Ok so I have been getting around 300 hits a day on my online movie arbitrage site for about 2 cents a click. I would say that compared to my other sites this is pretty cheap. The problem is that I haven't been able to turn a good return on the site. I put up adsense and am only getting 5-10 cents a click for those ads. So I tried affiliate programs (netflix, blockbuster, cinemanow) and got no sign ups at all. So does anyone else have any ideas on how to turn a good return on an "online movie" site?

where are you promoting your site for 2 cents a click? I thought that google adwords minimum bid was 10 cents? I could be wrong on that though...

Yes, you are wrong. It's very easy to get 2 cent clicks if you are the only one bidding for that keyword. It also means that there is no competition for a reason.

That is most likely the case. I haven't worked on this site for a while, but I figured maybe someone knew about a good way to make money off this sort of thing.

Can you do a better job of describing what content is on the site?

What are you trying to get viewers to do when they get to your site, just click other adsense ads, or affiliate offers?

Are you building a list?

The site was designed for arbitrage only... they come to my site only to go to someone elses site. The content has to do with why renting/buying movies online is easier and more conveniant (sp??) than driving to Best Buy or a movie rental place.

your getting 300 hits or page impressions? are these users unique because unless they are unique then its poor traffic for 300

It ranged I would say from 250-300 unique hits a day. I only ran it for 3 days though because I wasn't making any money from it. If anyone wants to look at this site PM me and I'll send you the link. Its ugly but thats the point!
