Flop: AA10r

What's my most profitable line from here?

[/ QUOTE ]

I checked to villain, planning to c/r, he bet and unfortunetly it was folded back to me so we are now HU. If I would've got just one caller in between us I agree, it's an auto c/r, but is that still my best option now? Should I let the cat out of the bag and c/r, or sit on it for alil while now that we're HU?

checkraise. if he has an ace he'll put in more action (maybe a lot more) If he doesn't, checkraising is the most likely way to get him to call down without an ace.

Still a check-raise. If he doesn't have an ace, he's probably going to check the turn. If he does have an ace, particularly AK, then he's going to play back at you and you can cap the flop and lead the turn. A slowplay is pretty bad here because there aren't really any second-best hands he can make here. He either has an ace and 3 outs and 3 more coming on the turn, or he has JJ+ with two outs. And he's probably taking all these hands to showdown, so you might as well make it expensive.

You can't make as much money if you bet either.

if you bet out, it gets HU 100% of the time.

check raising the field is still your best play on the flop. now if you checkraise it may just look like you're doing it because it's HU.

i would checkraise, call a 3bet and bet/3bet the turn.

James -- why would you not cap the flop?
