Or am I better off checking it down and hoping he missed a draw? |

Against an unknown I play it the same. Typically, unknowns dont fold.

I'd bet again personally, the board is pretty drawy and chances are he's drawing. Checking is alright too I guess, depends how aggro you are.

Re: 50NL: AQo misses, should I fire another barrel?
I think it's fine. And then on the river when you discover you lost in irritating fashion to 6h2h, you can take solace in the fact that Villain wouldn't have folded that hand to a turn bet anyway, and you would have just lost more.
That said, I suppose a turn bet would probably fold out 8c4c, and it would of course be nice to charge that 6h2h that I mentioned and then take the free showdown and win versus that hand 2/3 of the time. But Villain did call a raise preflop, and although his stats are looking LAGgy so far, our sample is very small and I'd imagine his range of made hands once he calls the flop is weighted more toward top pair or second pair, and I'm thinking it might be hard to get him to drop those. |

How many streets would you value bet with AA?

[ QUOTE ]
How many streets would you value bet with AA? [/ QUOTE ] I would value bet AA on all three against this opponent. The worry with doing that with AQo is that he could very well be the type to blindly pay you off when you have AA, and the last think I want to do is to lose most of my stack 3barrelling a station. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think you misunderstand my point. If you would value bet every street with AA and expect it to be +EV what makes you think there is a point to firing a second barrel with A high and a gutshot? |
