I raise preflop with AAJT (I am running 35/11 this session). flop AdQcJc, I call a pot bet. Turn Ac. I bet half the pot on the turn.

Guy pots the river... I repot for obvious reasons... I lose to KcTc of course. I am an idiot for repotting... no way he was calling with an underboat. <sighs>

I am goign to watch some random movie and study for some class now.

I cashed out almost completely and am donking around on the 1c/2c UB game and the $5 and $10 buyin games on Stars. The action is quite good and you can buyin for 200 bb in the $5 game. Very occassionally there will be a juicy $25 or $50 buyin game..but that's quite rare these days.
(Note to BluffThis...the microstake NL games aren't any better..more of them but just as tight.)

God bless any 'Mericans trying to make a serious go of online poker under these conditions. Hopefully the higher games aren't affected as much and the situations improves...I think it will eventually.

I spend the rest of my free time trying to teach you donkies how to play PLO and skinning your sacred cows.

It's a good thing you're here to teach us how stupid raising AA99ds preflop is

You're totally right though, it's a rough time to be an american online pro. Worst I've seen in 4 years, even for a few days in a row. Tough time to be unemployed, and it's hard to get motivated about improving your game when there's no good game to use your skills in. It feels like a theoretical discussion to me now, instead of a practical skill. Me no likey.

Party games are still awesome, they just don't run during the times of time I would like them to.

9.5BB/100 @ PLO200 this month on stars. Don't know why y'all are complaining so much :P

Rempel: When do the Party games get up? Have they got any short handed tables yet? I was considering putting some money back in to Party, assuming conditions are ripe.

Generally the games are best between 6am and 10am CST. Still no short tables and people quit when the table breaks so it's hard to get HU or shorthanded matches, unless you enjoy playing HnR shorties.

I was definitely more choosy with my table selection over the last month when I was playing (pre-exams). I was still able to rape the Stars PL200 games.

The only time I had a problem was when I was trying to force action at a table that didn't warrant it. Oh ya, I also had a problem when I moved up to 2/4 because I ran bad and looooove to tilt when I play at those stakes.
