Why do you even care what people say about you? I think you take things a bit personally than you should. This is from what I have seen you write on these forums and your blog.

Daniel,

Why are you so defensive? Why do you let these guys get to you?

I, for one, believe it.

Seriously though Daniel (assuming you really are), these forums are populated by lot of mean children, emotionally if not literally. They've run off the majority of celebrity pros who have stopped by to post and, indeed, eventually discourage most other serious posters as well. Nine out of ten 2+2 responses, especially in NVG, will be direct insults or lame sarcasm. Just the way it is. Teenagers and emotionally stunted shut-ins represent a fairly large number of the people who have time to read these forums and post to them daily. Busy people with lives and other interests tend to find other ways of amusing themselves.

(Not an absolute rule by any means, but mature, serious, knowledgeable posters DO represent a fraction, not a majority)

So there's no mystery to it, really. Online forums are like this pretty much everywhere. The only thing that surprises me is that you seem to take them seriously. You seem to care about what they say. Which is probably more then they do.

Also, as others have already mentioned, being a celebrity and worrying what people think/say about you on a day-to-day basis is poison. Good way to drive yourself crazy. Plenty of examples in the media at this very moment.

that was a pretty good observation. And it all makes sense, just like socialism. Except in reality, it is not true.

DN: If you are struggling at the 1-2 game, why not move down to build a bankroll until you grasp the game. Many online sites feature smaller stakes than a 1-2 dollar game. You can even use play money tables to figure out that a flush beats a straight.
