Default i guess you can\'t sell the use of FTP points on ebay

in reference to this thread,
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...rt=all&vc=1

i made an auction selling anything you want from the FTP store upto 25k points worth. A day later, I get this email, apparently, you can not do this.

i'm upset by this but don't know what to do.

Dear xxxx,

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

260088471683 - Full Tilt points for anything you choose

The auction-style listing was removed because it violated the eBay Encouraging Illegal Activity policy. All fees related to this listing have been credited to your account. We also notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has
been canceled.

eBay prohibits the sale of items or links to items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity.

For example, sellers aren't permitted to list items that promote online casinos or teach members how to use these Web sites.

For more information on the eBay Encouraging Illegal Activity policy, please visit:

Please note: violation of this or other eBay policies may result in forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings, limits on account privileges and account suspension.

to review eBay's list of Prohibited, Questionable, and Infringing items, please visit:

For more information on why eBay may remove a auction-style listing, please visit:

Thank you for your understanding.

Ever since E-Bay bought Paypal part of the agreement, w/the Gov., was for Paypal to drop all dealings with on-line Casinos. Since then E-Bay/Paypal have been active opponents to on-line gambling. So, what can you do???? Nothing

You will have to ask the DOJ what the illegal activity is.

Essentially eBay/paypal is ONE large casino. The vast majority of people use paypal (2.2 - 2.9% fee) to pay for the items they win. Ebay takes rougly 4-5% of the final value. I can see why they want nothing to do with anything illegal, they have a proverbial cash cow.

Yet ebay allows the sale of stolen merchandise on their site every day. It is common knowledge that a lot of the brand new items up for ebay auction are stolen. Home depot has security at the door in a lot of stores now because of ebay theft.
