Re: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games
I've already pre-ordered through Amazon. I think I'm more excited about this book than any other book I have ever heard about. (Very close toss up with the Dave Fromm/Ray Zee book).

Mason,
Do you have any intial semi-un-biased thoughts after reading through the manuscript that you would like to share with us? |

Re: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games
I'm looking forward to getting the book, but I have a question. I think everyone deep inside would like to know how to beat really tough games, but it begs the question. Why would anyone play in tough games to begin with? I can think of some valid answers but I'd like know to hear your answer.

jeffnc,
Because when you move out of the kiddie stakes you have a lot less choice. You basically need to be able to beat tough games to move up. I think a lot of 10/20+ games online are classed as "tough games". At least, I'm quite sure this book will apply to those games. |

One could also make the arguement that learning the skills to beat tough games might increase your winrate in easier games. |

Re: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games
Actually, this book is going to be useless to anyone not playing in 200/400+ so just save your money and don't bother buying it. Really, it won't be worth reading.

Re: Winning in Tough Hold \'em Games
Some of the lower limit prop games play pretty tough, I know Zobags has experience of prop games.
