Pokerstars cashouts to US players no longer sent by Fed Ex
If this has recently been posted please ignore. Checks over 1k were always sent to me by Fed Ex and arrived within 2 to 7 days, so when my latest cashout had not arrived after 9 days I sent them an email asking about it. Their response:
-------------------------- Hello MDoranD, Your most recent cheque will take a little longer to arrive than normal as it was not sent by courier. Unfortunately we are no longer sending cheques by courier to our US players. Instead, cheques over $1000 are sent by Express Mail, and generally take between 5 and 7 business days to arrive. I can confirm your latest cheque was mailed on February 14th and should be with you in the coming days. Thank you for your patience, and for choosing PokerStars. Regards, Adrian PokerStars Support Team ------------------------------------------ Think theyre just cutting back on the cost of Fed Exing everyones checks? |

Re: Pokerstars cashouts to US players no longer sent by Fed Ex
Highly likely, since previously most transactions were done via neteller. I bet the amount of checks being sent increased about 10000%. Any savings in mailing them would now start adding up quickly.
