Re: Any tips for learning how to read hands???
If you are just starting out sometimes its easier to just focus on the opponents to your left and right. I used to find that trying to "read" an entire table was extremely overwhelming and sometimes I would just give up cuz i was way off. Almost too saturated and i couldnt sort it out. I read a tip somewhere to just concentrate on the 1 or 2 on your right and left and it helped immensly. experience helps so so much. i know its been said alot, but its so true. always always watch hands when you arent in the pot as has already been said.

Re: Any tips for learning how to read hands???
Go to the forum section of the stake you play. There are tons of hand histories posted there, and you can take all the time in the world to look them over and think about hand ranges and lines etc. Then after that, read the replies and see how you did. Do this for a while and your hand reading will improve a lot.

It's a wiki, so anyone can edit it and make it better. Don't even have to register.
Don't worry about messing up formatting, such as it is. If you have any issues someone can easily come along and pretty it up. |
