Yes, I'm serious. TMac was dancing on the podium next to his table one time I walked by.

Giambi and Javon Walker also there (Javon's booth was right next to ours, pretty entertaining), but I don't think they were gonna win the MVP anyways.

I'm on the under like everyone else appears to be... however, I picked up West -3.5 earlier yesterday. The East bench is not doing it for me...

I put my $ on arenas for the mvp. Right now... Amare has to be leading the way, then a tie with Arenas 5pts and 2assist and Howard with 8pts 2boards and 4turnovers.

Under 257 doesn't look too good, but sometimes it happens when teams change the game tempo in the 2nd half.

I don't know what it is, but man I would bet the under. These cats are out partying at all hours and have been for the last 2 nights, and surely will be again tonight. I take the obvious angle that they'll be too tired/hungover to get over the number. If the spread is large, it may be worth taking the dog too, as I don't see the West spending the energy to "put away" the East. Just some anecdotal observations.

Or they are so tired they play no defense and just show off their skills. Free baskets on each trip across the court has both teams scoring over 150 and easily covering the over....so....

yea, this bet is NOT free money. Someone's gonna be right and someone's gonna be wrong and I think the over is set pretty well.

Don't think you guys are defintely dead...but I really think I had a point. The 257 mark was very well forecasted and I didn't see any edge in taking the under or over. GL though.

Did you take thing thinking the east wont lose by more than 4? Or did you take that because you dont have the balls to put it on the ML... Nothing personal, lol

[/ QUOTE ]

I really don't see how liking the spread better than the money-line has anything to do with having balls.
I thought there was a reasonable chance of a close-ish game.
