Default How to handle a 30/20 kinda guy on dry flop

There were a couple of hands like this. Villain is 28/20 over a large sample - .5/1 full ring. I had seen him lead out with ace high to the river a couple of times and it seemed as though you could not push him off any hands.

I'm UTG+1 with KQ of diamonds and I raise, villain on CO re-raises, everyone else folds and I of course call (anyone cap it here?)

Flop comes 10/10/7 one diamond....I bet, he raises, I call

If I reraise he's calling with anything and I'm liable to have him cap it here as my image at the table was tight. No way I can fold I think though given the read I have on him and I have a backdoor and 2 overs here.

Turn was a 2 non diamond

I check, villain bets, I call

River - 4

I check, villain bets, I fold

Thoughts? The other line I thought was to check raise the flop and lead the turn. I'm a bit lost in these spots

No point raising with K high against this guy, if you've seen him 3-bet KJ or worse call the river, if you have only seen him do this with Ax fold.

Why bet into him on the flop?

I like

* Check-call the flop, check-raise the turn
* Check-call the flop, check-fold the turn

Check/call flop and fold non diamond turn (K's and Q's are good obviously). Dance with him when you actually hit sth. Dont call him down with K high.

Going into the flop my thinking was that if I lead the flop and turn, he might let it go on the turn, but after getting raised on the flop that plan was thrown out the window. I agree betting the flop wasn't good here.

lol at flop donk. c/c this flop he's never folding A-hi or a pair which is what he probably has. c/f turn, c/r if you want to spew, c/c if you want to draw with insufficient odds.
