Default AKs OOP facing 3-bet

PS 1/2NL, I've got AKs and raise to 7 in CO, button 3-bets to 24; effective stacks are 210, and I think button is currently unknown; Whats my plan?

I've actually just called and check/folded the 783r flop. I think I have to 4-bet/call preflop.

Just looking at this situation in general (AK OOP facing 3-bet) what are the considerations for our decision? stack sizes, our image, opponent reads, game size etc?

Cheers,

Trent

I like a 4-bet (call shove) here.

You're OOP, and his 3-betting range here should be pretty big.

SABR, if you are 4bet and called, are you C/Fing all missed flops?

I almost never get flat-called after 4-betting with 100BB, so I guess it's not too big of a deal whether I 4-bet to $80 or just shove.

In the rare case where I get flat-called, I'm think I'm just shoving the flop.

Meh, on second thought, just push pre-flop.

Like the others have said, I much prefer to make my 4 bet the shove, because I don't want him just calling and putting us in an even worse situation than if we just called the 3bet.

I think that if you are going to 4-bet you should just shove since you are going to call an all-in anyway. You might as well put that extra pressure on them. Saying that, I say just 4-bet push here...

Push or fold > calling. What say you?
