Default What are the odds of two players flopping a flush?

Because it happened to me last night adn I got stacked. F$#*#FJ!

Also, would any of you be able to get away from this on the flop or was I just destined to go broke?

Flop: Ac Kc 6c

I am holding 10c 7c. Opponent holding Jc 8c.

52 cards in a deck, 5 you need for a flush. 50 (round down because of atmospheric and randomic variables like dealer, wind speed etc) divided by 5 is 10. There are two players so divide by two and three cards on a flop so minus 3. This leaves 2. Change this into odds form and we get odds of 1-2, approx 50%.

What're the odds you swept your opponent's stack into your backpack and ran off into the woods?
