I would say Bodog 5/10 full ring and 3/6 6-max are fish poinds, and that its 5/10 6-max game is fairly hard but probably not any harder than Party's 5/10 6-max. Unforntunately the 10/20 scene is another story. And I do agree that the 5/10-10/20 games on FTP and Stars suck major balls right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

bodog 10/20 is the most agressive FR game I've ever seen(at least it was Oct-Dec). In October they had bunches of fish, few regulars. Since then the game has dried up, there are still fish but its not like it used to be. Now its 4-5 tables with almost all regulars, few true fish. Not saying the regulars are all good players(some could def not win on other sites at 10/20), but its not the same from what Ive seen.

with the depletion of 10/20 fish, and many good players moving down, Ive noticed a decent amount of good players playing across 3-4 sites sometimes, just to be able to play 6-8 tables. this is a major change in online poker(at least for higher stakes games). I'm sure the guys who played party 10/20 and 25/50 never had to think of playing multiple sites, why would they need to? this kept some of the best players at party(or maybe stars even) and kept smaller fishponds safe. those days are gone.

The 10/20 game on Bodog has almost completely dried up. Its basically just "ReMMy", "Dankness","Harrington10", "Kwikfish"(wasika),"turkalo", "oneroundeye", "Lent10", "ATHURIA" and a few other regs 3betting each other across a few tables. Three months ago the game was hyper-aggressive for FR, but at least there were a ton of fish to make it a money tree. Now it still plays hyper-aggressive, but every player in the game is competant. (with a few random exceptions)

The Bodog 5/10 FR games are still ridic soft, although not as much as they were in 2006. It was literally impossible to go on an extended downswing in that game just a few months back, the players were soooo bad. Bodog definitely rivaled the old Party games.

The 5/10 6 max games usually aren't great, but you can often find some people tilting off stacks. I haven't played a bunch of 3/6 6max on Bodog, but IME its been fairly soft.

To me, this looks like a bad play you're trying to pass off as justified because you ended up on the winning end of it. I doubt you really believe making big calls like this against TAGs who can adjust is sound because if you're really putting them on proper ranges, you're gonna be behind more often than ahead. My guess is he pwnd you preflop and your result was gift wrapped. You could've been on tilt for we know. BBV, please.

each and every mistake counts way more than it used to

sooo important to play your A game, leave if you are tilting, etc these days. Self assessment like FF said is really important.

Bad tags don't bluff enough, they seem to just check call and try to play smallball.
